Workshop on Future Accelerators

CSI Cost

The workhop is mainly supported by the COST Action Machine Learning and Quantum Computing for Future Colliders (CA24146). It is also supported by:

T. Behnke, A. Blondel, T. Han, K. Jakobs, J. Kalinowski, S. Kluth, K. Kordas, O. Kortner, M. Mangano, F. Simon, R. Torre, E. Tsesmelis, T-T You, F. Zimmermann, G. Zoupanos

J. Kalinowski, V. Keus, S. Kluth, I. Kopsalis, K. Kordas, S. Kortner, F. Simon, R. Torre, D. Varouchas, T. You, G. Zoupanos

E. Gazis, J. Kalinowski, I. Kopsalis, K. Kordas, S. Maltezos, D. Varouchas, G. Zoupanos

The Workshop aims to bring together scientists from theory, accelerators and detectors to discuss the why and the how of the next-generation colliders and associated detectors, as well as the physics reach of these facilities.

There will be afternoon sessions, fully aligned with the Action’s Working Groups:

  • ◼ WG1: Machine Learning Applications for Collider Physics. Conveners: Valentina Vecchio (UK) & Pietro Vischia (ES)
  • ◼ WG2: Quantum Computing for Collider Physics. Conveners: Simon Williams (UK) & Theodota Lagouri (CH)
  • ◼ WG3: Theory–Experiment Interface. Conveners: Humberto Reyes-González (DE) & Andrea Coccaro (IT)
  • ◼ WG4: Computational Infrastructure and Resource Optimization. Conveners: Louis-François Pau (RO) & Rakhi Mahbubani (HR)
  • ◼ WG5: Training, Outreach, and Public Engagement. Conveners: Jelena Jovicevic (RS) & German Sborlini (ES)
