Evaluating Intel® Streaming SIMD Extensions (Intel® SSE) Variables

Intel® Streaming SIMD Extensions (Intel® SSE) operations use data types that are vectors of integers and floating point numbers, which can be modified in single instructions.

You can display the value of variables that use these data types in the Vector Evaluations window.

To evaluate an Intel SSE variable:

Select an Intel SSE variable in the Source window.
Right-click the selection.
The pop-up menu appears.
Select On Selection “expression” > Add To Vector Eval Window.
The debugger adds the expression to the Vector Evaluations window.
Open the Vector Evaluations window by selecting View > Vector Evaluations.
The Vector Evaluations window opens.

Tip

You can evaluate an Intel SSE variable by selecting it in the Source window and dragging it to the Vector Evaluations window.
