SampleDownH2V2_JPEG

Performs 2:1 horizontal sampling and 2:1 vertical sampling of an image.

Syntax

IppStatus ippiSampleDownH2V2_JPEG_8u_C1R(const Ipp8u* pSrc, int srcStep, IppiSize srcSize, Ipp8u* pDst, int dstStep, IppiSize dstSize);

Parameters

pSrc

Pointer to the source image ROI.

srcStep

Distance in bytes between starts of consecutive lines in the source image.

srcSize

Size of the source ROI in pixels.

pDst

Pointer to the destination image ROI.

dstStep

Distance in bytes between starts of consecutive lines in the destination image.

dstSize

Size of the destination ROI in pixels.

Description

The function ippiSampleDownH2V2_JPEG is declared in the ippj.h file. It operates with ROI (see Regions of Interest in Intel IPP ).

This function performs 2:1 horizontal sampling and 2:1 vertical sampling of an image. Downsampling is performed as a simple “box” filter.

Return Values

ippStsNoErr

Indicates no error.

ippStsNullPtrErr

Indicates an error condition if one or both of the specified pointers are NULL.

ippStsSizeErr

Indicates an error condition if roiSize has a field with zero or negative value.

ippStsStepErr

Indicates an error condition if srcStep or dstStep has a zero or negative value.
