This topic outlines the basic steps for using the Intel® Fortran Compiler with Microsoft Visual Studio*.
Build and Run a Fortran Project
- To build the application, select
Build > Build Solution. Any errors will be displayed in the
Output window. Double-click a message to go to the line in error.
- To run without debugging, select
Debug > Start Without Debugging. The console window will remain open after the program exits until you press
Enter.
- To run under the debugger, first set a breakpoint at the first executable line of the program by clicking in the gray column to the left of the source line. Then select
Debug > Start Debugging. If the program exits normally, the console window will be closed automatically.
