The MIMO MMSE is based on the output of FFT (y) and channel estimation (H).
The figure below shows the system model used for the MMSE estimation per subcarrier.
According to this figure, the basic equation is
y=H*x+n
where
- Nr is the number of receive antennas (2, 4, or 8)
- Nt is the number of transmit antennas (1 or 2)
- x is the data frequency domain symbol
