The document is available in HTML format.

For details about the compiler and linking options, threading, and memory management with Intel MKL, see Intel MKL User's Guide.

Intel(R) MKL Reference Manual Contains detailed descriptions of the functions and interfaces for all library domains:
  • BLAS
  • BLACS
  • LAPACK
  • ScaLAPACK
  • PBLAS
  • Sparse Solver
  • Vector Mathematical Functions (VML)
  • Statistical Functions (VSL)
  • Conventional DFTs and Cluster DFTs
  • Partial Differential Equations support
  • Non-Linear Optimization Problem Solvers
  • Data Fitting Functions.

For implementation-specific information about the library, see Intel MKL Release Notes and Intel MKL User's Guide.

The manual is available in the FAR Uncompressed Help format.

Eclipse Plugin with Intel MKL Reference Manual A plugin for Eclipse Help with a WebHelp version of the Intel MKL Reference Manual.
To use the plugin, place it into the plugins folder of your Eclipse directory, start Eclipse, choose  Help -> Help Contents in the menu bar, click the Intel(R) Math Kernel Library Help bookmark in the left-hand panel and then the Intel(R) Math Kernel Library Reference Manual bookmark below, if necessary.
Starting from Intel(R) MKL 10.0, the plugin provides an option to extend search over the www.intel.com site. Run Search from the standard Eclipse Help panel and check Intel.com search results to see it work.
Intel(R) MKL User's Guide

Provides Intel MKL usage information in greater detail:

  • getting started information
  • application compiling and linking depending on a particular platform and function domain
  • building custom DLLs
  • configuring the development environment
  • coding mixed-language calls
  • threading
  • memory management
  • ways to obtain best performance

The document is available in the FAR Uncompressed Help format.

Man pages of Intel MKL A collection of man pages for Intel MKL functions.
Note for Windows* OS users: To get a guaranteed correct display, view the Intel MKL man pages using the Linux console rather than a Windows* shell client.

Intel(R) Math Kernel Library Link Line Advisor (local version) A tool that returns the recommended line to use for linking and recommended compilation options given the Intel product version, operating system, processor architecture, and compiler, as well as other parameters.

PDF documents require a PDF reader, such as the Adobe Reader*.
