GFPXQAdd

Adds two elements of the GF(p^d^2) field.

Syntax

IppStatus ippsGFPXQAdd(const IppsGFPXQElement *pGFpxqElementA, const IppsGFPXQElement *pGFpxqElementB, IppsGFPXQElement *pGFpxqElementR, IppsGFPXQState *pGFpxq);

Parameters

pGFpxqElementA

Pointer to the context of the first summand element of the GF(p^d^2) field.

pGFpxqElementB

Pointer to the context of the second summand element of the GF(p^d^2) field.

pGFpxqElementR

Pointer to the context of the resulting element of the GF(p^d^2) field.

pGFpxq

Pointer to the context of the GF(p^d^2) field.

Description

This function is declared in the ippcp.h file. The function computes the sum of the two elements of the GF(p^d^2) field. The following pseudocode represents this operation: R = A + B.

Return Values

ippStsNoErr

Indicates no error. Any other value indicates an error or warning.

ippStsNullPtrErr

Indicates an error condition if any of the specified pointers is NULL.

ippContextMatchErr

Indicates an error condition if any of the IppsGFPXQState or IppsGFPXQElement context parameters does not match the operation.
