GFPMul

Multiplies two elements of the GF(p) field.

Syntax

IppStatus ippsGFPMul(const IppsGFPElement *pGFpElementA, const IppsGFPElement *pGFpElementB, IppsGFPElement *pGFpElementR, IppsGFPState *pGFp);

Parameters

pGFpElementA	Pointer to the context of the first multiplicand element of the GF(`p`) field.
pGFpElementB	Pointer to the context of the second multiplicand element of the GF(`p`) field.
pGFpElementR	Pointer to the context of the resulting element of the GF(`p`) field.
pGFp	Pointer to the context of the GF(`p`) field.

Description

This function is declared in the ippcp.h file. The function computes the product of the two elements of the GF(p) field. The following pseudocode represents this operation: R = A * B.

Return Values

ippStsNoErr	Indicates no error. Any other value indicates an error or warning.
ippStsNullPtrErr	Indicates an error condition if any of the specified pointers is NULL.
ippContextMatchErr	Indicates an error condition if any of the IppsGFPState or IppsGFPElement context parameters does not match the operation.
