Open a new Memory window with specific settings.
View > Memory
Address |
The start address of the memory you want to display. |
Browse |
Opens the Symbol Selector to search for an appropriate address. See also Symbol Selector Dialog Box: Simple Search Tab. |
Size |
Defines the grouping of the array of bits extracted from the memory. Choose between: Byte, Word, Long, Long Long, Float, Double and Long Double. |
Format |
Defines display of the memory contents. The default value is Hexadecimal. |
Auto Update |
If Auto Update is checked, the contents of the Memory window is updated automatically whenever the program execution stops. This is checked by default. Note that the automatic update can impact the debugger's performance. |
Based |
If the start address of the Memory window is not a constant expression, check Based. In based mode, the Memory window is updated whenever the value of the expression changes. |
