Editing Expressions and Values

You can change expressions and values of expressions directly in the Evaluations window.

To edit expressions:

Open an Evaluations window as described in Evaluating Variables.
Click the expression you want to change.
The expression or value is framed.
Double-click the framed expression.
Enter the new value.
Press the Return key or click outside of the Evaluations window.

Note

For values the modification is indicated by the enhanced foreground color, which you specify by selecting Options > GUI Preferences. See GUI Preferences Dialog Box.
The Evaluations window cannot be closed unless you click the Return key or click the mouse outside of the value modification field.
