About

The Athens symposium on Exploring the Universe (ATHEXIS) will take place 8-12 June 2026.
It aims to bring together scientists working on (astro)particle physics and cosmology and initiate cross-field discussions on recent developments and future prospects. The presentations will cover recent progress on theoretical, phenomenological and observational aspects of cutting-edge topic.

This meeting is organized by the National Technical University of Athens, University of Cyprus, Instituto de Física Corpuscular - CSIC, University of Valencia

Venue

The "Symposium on the Exploration of the Universe" will be hosted by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)
Heroon Polytechniou 9, 15780 Zografou, Athens, Greece 11635, Athens .
You can get to NTUA by:

Metro Take Athens Metro Line 3 (blue line)

to Katechaki Station — the closest metro stop to the Zografou Campus. From Katechaki Station, it’s a short taxi/bus ride or a ~10–15 min walk to the campus entrance.

Bus

Several Athens city buses serve the NTUA area. (check local schedules for up-to-date routing).

Taxi

From central Athens (Syntagma, Omonoia, Monastiraki): about 15–25 minutes depending on traffic.

Athens airport

is connected to downtown Athens via:
- Χ95 : Syntagma – Airport The line that takes you to the central Syntagma square of Athens
- Metro line 3 (Nikea – Douk. Plakentias – Airport) – the blue line.
