WELCOME
Following a long tradition of the Panhellenic Conferences on Solid State Physics
and Materials Science (PCSSP), the XXIX-PCSSP took place this year
from September 22nd (Sunday) to September 25th (Wednesday) at the National
Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos" [originally the Conference was scheduled to
take place at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)].
The PCSSP conference offers an excellent venue for researchers to
communicate and learn about the latest developments in all major categories of the
broad fields of Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science.
This meeting is an ideal opportunity for students and young researchers to interact with people that
are world-renowned in different areas of Physics and Chemistry of Materials.
The XXIX-PCSSP was jointly organized by the NTUA Department of Physics, the Department
of Physics of the University of Athens, the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos",
the National Hellenic Research Foundation,
and the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus.

Important dates
Deadline for submission of abstracts (oral or poster presentations): June 15, 2013.
- Notification on the acceptance of abstracts: All abstracts submitted have been
accepted for presentation. Please check the Program of the Conference for
the type of presentation (oral or poster) assigned to each particular abstract.
Early registration deadline: July 31, 2013.
Deadline for submission of abstracts (only poster presentations): August 19, 2013.
