Program |
September 4: Arrival/Registration day, September 5: 1st day of scientific events, September 15: Mid Term Meeting of the ITN.
The school consists of 40 lecture hours (the equivalent of 10 full lecture courses), a discussion session with lecturers and short
presentations by the students. A rough plan is: 6 hours on collider physics, data analysis and the status of experimental searches,
4 hours on flavor physics, 4 hours on SUSY, 4 hours extra dimensions and braneworlds, 4 hours on electroweak symmetry breaking,
4 hours on astroparticle physics and cosmology, 8 hours on string theory and string model building, 4 hours on applications of AdS/CFT
and 4 hours on advanced mathematical techniques in physics.
